All shipments are insured for damage to protect the buyer from loss. I wrap and package items as carefully as possible so they arrive in tact. I am not responsible for the way the Postal service or UPS handles packages. Sometimes an item is damaged or it breaks during shipping. As stated prior, all items I ship are insured for the entire amount paid by the buyer. If t is a problem, a claim can be submitted which will require a copy of the postal receipt. Recently, Postage Rates Domestic & International have increased a great deal. USPS now calculates postage they way UPS does: First by volume then by weight. To avoid surprises in shipping amount, for an international buyer, please email for shipping cost prior to bidding & provide exact address, postal zone and country. For international buyer - PAYPAL ONLY. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as ‘gifts’ - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. Payment is expected within 3 days of end of auction or email with explanation. If payment is not received you will be reported to EBay as a non-paying bidder and item will be re-listed or offered to the second highest bidder. Packing, handling, shipping and insurance costs are not negotiable. Once the auction has ended if additional postage or insurance is required due winning bid amount, box size, packing, or ship to location - the invoice will be adjusted accordingly! The amount of the postal insurance is calculated after the auction is over. The insurance is based on the selling price. The insurance cost are NOT included in the shipping & handling (the auction is wrong). Insurance cost will be added to the shipping & handling once the auction is over.
