Vatican Enterprises is proud to offer Hudson & Allen Studio 25-mm scale model buildings for dioramas and tabletop wargaming. Although nominally scaled as 25 mm, these models work well with wargame and diorama scale ranges from 1/72 to 28 mm. These highly detailed scenic models are molded in rigid polyurethane foam. This makes the models lightweight, yet tough enough to stand up to some serious wargaming. They are created by hand pouring polyurethane foam resin into rubber molds. As the foam mixture rises, it fills the mold cavity. However, some small air pockets, flash, or surface irregularities are to be expected with this type of molding process. Any surface pockets, molding defects, or battle damage can be filled with sandable hobby filler putty. Bondo, latex spackle, or Elmer's wood putty are good filler materials to use. Polyurethane foam models are also easily modified by the hobbyist and any separate components can be fitted if required. Polyurethane foam sands, cuts, and shapes quite readily with standard home and hobby tools. All of our scenic models are provided unpainted, unless otherwise noted. Just spray the model with primer and then paint as desired with standard water based hobby paints. Drybrushing really brings out the detail. Afterwards, topcoat the model with a spray on clear matte finish for a durable model. Now back after a four year production hiatus!Quantities are limited! This auction is for one Damaged Castle Wall Set. This model set consists of two castle wall sections. One breached wall and one partially collapsed tower. Each section is modular and will fit together with any of the other 25mm Hudson & Allen castle wall models. The tower tops are removable. The overall size of each sections is approximately 14" long by 5" wide by 7.25" tall. These castle sections do come lightly pre-primed with a gray latex paint. Pictures showing the models in the natural amber-brown polyurethane molding material, or that have been painted, are shown only for reference. The free listing tool.
