Original Art Deco c1925 double solitaires approximately 2ct total wt. Old European Cut Diamonds with 9mm Ocean Pearls in 18k and Platinum! These are magnificent earrings the highest quality. These handmade antique earrings will definately NOT go unnoticed. The large Old European Cut Diamonds have small high tables and medium culets are approximately 6mm each about .85ct each super white G/H color and eyeclean SI-1 the smaller Old European Cut diamonds are approximately 3mm each also G/H color and about .15ct each. They have superb sparkle and are super eyeclean! All of the diamonds are set in platinum and are natural untreated unenhanced mined from the earth diamonds.The massive 9mm early cultured Ocean Pearls are absolutely gorgeous beautifully matched in size and color and are smooth with few blemishes creamy white with golden overtones. These earrings look absolutely beautiful on and are securely fastened with bar and post and snap back catch fastener.The pearls sit just below your ear lobe and the large diamond right over your ear hole and the smaller diamond sits just above. The earrings measure 9mm wide which is just over 1/3inch and 19mm long which is about 3/4 of an inch. They do not tip or droop when worn being very finely made with good balance. These would easily retail upwards of 6000. at an antique jewelry shop.These diamonds look so much better in person you will be thrilled when you open the box. These old European cut diamonds were cut around 1890-1910 and were most likely part of other jewelry during the victorian era and reset for the Edwardian/Art Deco eras. The sparkles and flashes of colors from the diamonds will definately be seen from across a room.The large Ocean Pearls are early cultured pearls which were cultured in great nets of oysters seeded by hand and placed back in the ocean for many many years. During the early years of salt water pearl culturing very large very round pearls such as these were rare and highly prized. The nacre on these large 9mm beauties is super thick much more so than modern day akoyas.They will ship fully insured via USPS express mail with tracking to your confirmed paypal address only and you will have to sign for them.
