Don't see many of these around. This one has a broken tip, or else it could have been a $10,000 plus point. 3 3/8" Cumberland from Kentucky. Made of Hornstone with narrow flutes running up each side 2/3 the original length. Excellent flaking and a classic style. I am showing the close-ups of the fractured area so you can see the iron scar left by the plow and how it runs right off the fractures. The patina breaks out on the downward side w the fresh stone was exposed. I was going to send it to Dennis Bushey for a makeover, just on the tip. Well worth the investment, but I know a few collectors who prefer it in its rough state so it is. Tom Davis COA included.
