Radiant iridescent colors of blue, green, and gold. Pure Pyrite crystallization with no matrix featuring radiating fanned crystals that sparkle in the light. These are also known as Pyrite Dollars and Sun Dollars. Collected in a coal mine hundreds of feet below the earth's surface, this sun formed over 300 million years ago! The Pyrite crystals formed between thin layers of slate, compressed from the lack of room to grow. Oxidized to replicate natural iridescent coloration.
