3 American Art Glass Dichroic Paperweights Rollin Karg Dichroic Hi and thanks for looking. Up for auction we have a wonderful lot of 3 large (all 3 are at least 3" tall and 3" in diameter) hand blown art glass paperweights in brilliant colors. Two of the paperweights are made and signed by Nationally renowned glass artist Rollin Karg, and the other was purchased at an art gallery in Boca Rotan about 10 years ago. Rollin Karg is the leader of the dichroic glass work in the U.S. We just purchased a wonderful coastal estate from a multi-million dollar home. The couple we aquired this estate from frequented art shows and galleries all over the world. They had a world-class collection of studio art glass. The winner of this auction will receive 3 paperweights including. 1 hand blown pinched paperweight with an amethyst form in the center (lots of bubbles in this one. The bottom is signed R. Karg 1 hand blown unusually shaped paperweight by nationally known art glass blower Rollin Karg from Kechi, Kansas. This one is a gorgeous blue iridescent color and changes at different light angles. It is low and spherical (disc shape) in design but all of the sides are pinched which gives in a 3 dement ional look. It is a large weight, approximately 3 and 3/4 inches across, and 1 and 1/2 inches in height. Mr. Karg is the leader of dichroic glass work in the US. The colors are glowing, and when turning the weight under light, they take on a new brightness and reflection, which is always changing. It is hand signed just above its base. The third paperweight in this lot is a paperweight said to have been purchased in an art gallery in Boca Raton about 10 years ago. It is a wonderful aquatic scene with brightly colored tropical fish swimming around a colorful coral reef. This lot is a must have for the art glass or paperweight collector. The two Karg weights will be a great investment in that he was the leader of the dichroic glasswork. All of the paperweights are in excellent condition; they never left the display cabinet until we acquired them. We are sure the winner of this auction will be extremely happy with their purchase. Please ask all questions before bidding. Shipping for U.S buyers will be $12 plus insurance. Please ask all questions before bidding. Thanks again and good luck.
