Hello' I have been at it again diging in my father's estate house of things and I found these in a trunk, I know nothing about these 3 items but what I'm looking at in front of me I did the best I could to describe them as I see them, I take pride in what I sell base on facts of what I see on a products and answering all questions so if you need more information on one or all of these you may call me at and i will be glad to answer your questions. What I have up for sale is I believe to be ww1 they are as follows: Large German ww1 Bayonet it is 20 1/2 inches long the markings are P.R.8 1812 these are on the blade, the handle is wood and very solid not lose at all, Scabbard is 16 1/2 inches long Frog is made of leather and in great condition, it has a I.17 printed on the back side of it. The next bayonet is 14" inches long has the markings F.G/G.Y and on the other side some kind of seal (see photo) on the wooden handle it has a number 6 or G? The scabbard has the same seal on it and is in good condition, the Frog is in perfect condition. The third Bayonet is 14" long has the markings CE. CW on the blade, The Scabbard has the markings V&H, with a fancy seal under it, The Frog is in great condition, all of these I believe are in real good condition T are no rips in the Frogs and t not stiff or anything like that all the handles on all of the Bayonets are solid not lose and real tight, The Scabbards have a few little dents all but the large one don't have any at all. Please note: thanks to a Collector who know doubt knows his bayonets gave the following information and i believe it to be true and alot more information on these, i believe his information to be right on!
