ITEM FOR AUCTION TODAY: ITEM FOR AUCTION TODAY: Three (3) old paint job plans from EMD Electro-Motive Division of General Motors LaGrange IL shows the paint and styling plans for then brand new diesels for delivery to the buying railroad. Shows different views of the painted and lettered locomotive such as side and end views (sometimes top views) so you can see w all the stripes and lettering and paint color separations are. The image below is just a small part of the full and complete blueprint showing the main side view so you have an idea of the type of diesel and paint job covered on this blueprint. It also shows the exact paints used right down to the brands and numbers of paints. This is a very nice plan set. Therse are all black & white copies, none are blueline blueprint copies. These are not EMD's original master plans. These are copies of their master plans made in black & white. Dates range from 1953 to 1971. Again, these are COPIES not originals and priced as a set. These are all folded plans size range a bit. Some are 2 feet by 3 feet. Some larger. Some smaller. Quality varies but generally all are very legible and some are really lovely plans. We put partial images in for all three of the plans.
