Another great item I picked up at a Maine auction. This is a 3 Gallon stoneware jug with a unusual design in blue cobalt. The design is two bees with swirls to indicate them flying. Also are 4 random drops that I believe were to be drops of honey. These are in a raised brown glassy glaze. The jug is in very nice condition and has no cracks or chips that I can find. The only fault I see is that the bees were a raised glaze and the bodies of the bees has chipped away leaving the outline of the bees and the front two antenna's that bees have. No makers mark on the jug. I have looked on eBay and thru several books and have not found this design on any stoneware. A 3 day money back gaurantee if this is not what is described. Sorry, NO PAYPAL...After years of paying fees with no service I dropped it ! Reserve is $199.00
