Beautifully hand painted gold accents gently float around the scalloped edge of these beautifully shaped Fruit/Dessert/Sauce Bowls by Haviland, Limoges. Whisps of fine gold swirl silently, floating like a single feather that is caught up in a delicate breeze and drifts until it is gently placed in just the right position to catch your eye to a thing of grace and beauty.Subtly, your eye is drawn to this ribbon of gold trim so that you cannot resist reaching out to clasp some of the lovliness to yourself. Imagine these lovely Fruit/Dessert/Sauce Bowls adding just the perfect touch on your table for that Special Occasion. This set belonged to a Literary Society which held an estate sale. These pieces are pristine and yet the green and red stamp on the bottom dates these lovely dishes between 1883 and 1885. These Fruit/Dessert/Sauce Bowls measure approximately 5.5" in diameterand 1.5" high. T are no chips, nicks or cracks of any kind. The gold is in perfect condition. Limoges is known for unparallelled quality, beauty and grace and set the standard for classic white with hand painted gold accents.
