3 HEADVASES HEADVASE HULL ROYAL COPLEY LUSTERWARE L@@K Up for auction are 3 really great vintage headvases. The first is an unmarked, pink lusterware lady. She measures approx. 7âe tall and is 6âe wide. She is wearing a pink dress with gold highlights and a matching wide-brimmed pink bonnet. Her hair is black and her lips are red. Inside is very clean. Condition is very good; we do not see any chips, cracks, breaks, or flakes, but she does have some normal age-crazing. Next is an unusual Hull headvase depicting a peasant or farm girl. She measures approx. 6âe tall and 4-3/4âe wide. The vase is all a soft yellow color (similar to the color of original post-it notes) and the bottom is marked âeoeHULL~ USA ~204âe. This vase has two small blobs of pottery under the glaze, one by her hand and the other down at the base of her arm, both are 1/8âe or less, and maybe 5 tiny pin-prick dots w the glaze did not fully cover, which are normal in vintage Hull Pottery. Other than these flaws, condition is very good with no chips, cracks, breaks, or flakes; and just normal age-crazing that does not distract in any way. Inside is very clean. Last is a Royal Copley headvase known as âeoePIGTAIL GIRLâe. She measures approx. 7âe tall and is 4-3/4âe wide across her hat. She is wearing a grey dress and hat with burgundy hair ribbons on her dark brown pigtails. Back is marked âeoeROYAL COPLEYâe in raised letters. Her condition is a little âeoeroughâe. In addition to overall crazing, she has two cracks at the top of her bonnet on the front, as well as 4 cracks on the back-side around the opening. Please see close-up picture as she still displays amazingly well. We do not see any other damage and her inside is very clean.
