3 INCH Unusual Whiting and Davis Copper Cuff Bracelet This is a very cool and unusual Whiting and Davis copper cuff bracelet made of 4 large copper pieces. The bracelet is three inches high. One of the unusual things about this piece is that the diameter is different at the top of the bracelet than at the bottom, so it will fit more snuggle on the natural shape of your arm. The top of the bracelet is just over 2 1/2 inches in diameter, the bottom is 2 1/4 inches. In other words, this is sort of conical in shape. Layed out straight it is hard to measure but it looks like it is approximately 7 7/8 inches at the bottom of the clasp, and 8 1/8 at the top of the clasp. The bracelet is in nice condition with no major flaws. T are some use/wear marks, normal in good condition vintage pieces. Nothing that indicated misuse of mishap!. The clasp and safety chain function well. The clasp closes with a nice solid snap and stays closed. This is also a heavy piece, it weighs about 4 ounces. This is marked simply "WHITING DAVIS CO." Whiting and Davis made costume jewelry from 1926 to 1980, I expect this piece is from the 1940's, but am not certain.
