These items belong to a lady whose father sent them home to his bride-to-be, (her mother), in 1945 (dated on flag). She has kept them, all these years in the wooden box that they were sent home in. The box measures 7 x 4 x 1 3/4" tall. It has a lid that sits on top, not hinged. The stringed purse looks like it is made from a silk fabric. It has a string on each side to pull it closed. The purse measures about: 5 1/2" tall x 7" wide. It has a flat bottom. The 2 military pins are the groom-to-be'
