Just in time for Mother's Day. What a beautiful gift this would make. This is a beautiful Victorian lady's French porcelain desk set by Limoge. The tray is so delicate with gold trim and hand painted purple violets with green leaves. It measures 8 1/2" long by 5 1/2" wide. With the exception of a teeny chip on one edge, it is in excellent condition. Attached to the tray is a porcelain inkwell with a removable lid, also trimmed in gold, with hand painted violets and leaves. It, too, is in excellent condition. The third piece is a stamp box with a lid which measures 3 1/2" long by 1 3/4" wide by 1 1/2" high. It is a matching piece with gold trim and hand painted violets and leaves. With no chips, cracks or crazing. (For safe handling, I have scotch taped the lid to the base. The tape shows in the picture and can easily be removed.) The tray and the stamp box are marked T&V France (Tresseman and Vogt) factory located in Souvenia. The Limoge trademark is also on the bottom. As a bonus also included are two 6" mother-of-pearl handled dip pens with nibs. Please email if you have any questions. Thank you for looking.
