These are three hand painted Poole Pottery salad plates in their striking "Vincent" pattern that was manufactured from 1996 - 2003 in England, which is hard to find. Two well known china replacement companies don't have a single piece in stock. No doubt these blue and green sponged pieces were inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's paintings of sunflowers. Each one is different--its own individual work of art. They're in very good condition with no chips, cracks, stains, crazing, or repairs. They have some mostly superficial with a few deeper scuff/scratch/cut marks. How apparent they are is dependent on how the light is reflecting off them. The finish is nice and shiny with the colors being bright and clear. They all have a blue dot on the back but I don't know what this means. These attractive pieces are 8-3/8 inches in diameter and would make nice replacements or additions to an existing set. Please see my other auctions for more of this pretty china.
