Up for auction, Buy- IT- Now or make me an offer. Please don't be shy on your offers because I really don't know the fair market value on what Im listing. What it is that I have is a Salt Glazed Stoneware Crock. First I must say that the condition of this Crock is just beautiful. I believe it could of been manufactured by Red Wing but I may me wrong. I sure one or more of the collectors out t will know. It is a three gallon crock. T's a number 3 with what looks like a dragonfly below the 3. This has been painted on with thick cobalt blue paint. It has great detail in it. Both sides have handles that are in perfect condition. T are no cracks, chips, or repairs in or on the Stoneware Crock. The bottom is smooth I dont see any markings I'm not sure if this is common with Stoneware Crocks or if this is the way they were made. T are some dark spots on the Crock. T not holes and they are not bubbled up. They are just part of the color in the glaze or the pottery. The inside has an all brown shinny slip glaze. I did notice some small what look like glaze pops inside. The size of the crock is 11" tall, alittle over 9" d. at the top, and 10" d. across the bottom. I would say that this Crock is very close to being perfect and it is old. Winner of this auction pays $20.00 for shipping and insurance.
