This lot of three color lithographs are spectacular images. Please see photos since verbal descriptors are not adequate to convey their presentation. All were published in the 1870's.

The Custer and the Indian Image and the Spirit of 1876 in a Chariot led by tigers were both published by "The Graphic Co. Lith. 39 & 41 Park Place NY."

The third image, Sailors at a ship's gunnery station, was published by "Raynor Wemple & Co. Lith. New York."

They appear to me to have been either salesman's samples for calendar art or for store advertising broadsides. All appear to have been cropped, though no imagery has been compromised in any way. The "76" has no other damage. The "Custer" has 2 light folds at upper left and one light fold at lower right. The "Sailors" has a tape (on back) reinforced fold at upper right. It also has a 1/2 inch chip out of upper right green border area (visible on large photo) and a closed 1/2 inch tear at mid-point on right margin, and a 1/4" fold at lower left corner.

T are no stains or foxing and appearance is great. The exact sizes are:

"76" - 6 5/8 by 12 1/2 inches "Custer" - 6 3/4 by 13 1/2 inches "Sailors" - 6 5/8 by 12 3/4 inches

The paper is heavy stock.
