Three (3) Unused Vintage Turquoise Blue Fire King "D" Handled 8 oz. Mugs. Anchor Hocking 1956-58 You are bidding in a No Reserve Auction (NR), on Three (3) Unused & Vintage Turquoise Blue "D" Handled 8 oz. Mugs, from the Fire-King family, made by the Anchor Hocking Glass Co. 1956-58. Note: If your are interested in 6 mugs, we are offering another set of 3 Mugs in another austion that started a short time ago. Turquoise dinnerware had a very short run of two years; these Mugs are Rare pieces at this level of Quality. Just look at how the light reflects off the glass on the inside, outside and on the most critical area the raised base on the bottom. The Glass is Factory Fresh and Glossy inside and out and the Turquoise blue color is strong. For reference, they are approximately 3-3/8" tall and 3¼" diameter at the top, 2-5/8" at the bottom, and are depicted on p.118 of Florence 's 3 rd ed. of Fire-king & More . All of the bottoms of these Mugs contain the Fire-King Trademark separating the words "OVEN" and "WARE" above and below respectively. Below WARE, is "MADE IN U.S.A." in a semi circle. These Unused "D" handled Mugs are in Mint condition. The only thing they lack is foil labels. These pieces have No Issues! They are ALL free of any evidence of Use & are free of utensil marks, table patina, chips, wear, stains, scratches, cracks, dullness, repairs, etc . We are not trying to profit on shipping costs. When the auction is won, the item is packaged for shipment and the shipping cost via the ebay calculator is included on an invoice to assure that you do not overpay on shipping. We will ask that you verify the Ship To - address, identify the level of insurance and extra services USPS offers, and last for you to downgrade from Priority or choose another shipping service if you prefer.
