This is a very nice set of 3 original, antique Toledo Torches manufactured by the Toledo Pressed Steel Company. They are new (never been used) and in the original box. As you can see from the pictures, they are in excellent condition, and one is especially interesting. If you have ever held one of these torches, you know they are very heavy because they have ballast in the bottoms. This ballast allows them to right themselves if overturned. The ballast is held in the bottom by a metal plate tacked inside the torch. On one, the metal plate has come lose, so I am able to see what they used for ballast and it is quite interesting. This torch, along with the others, is structurally sound and ready for use (or decoration). One has a small amount of rust on the dome and another has a few surface scratches w the wick rings came into contact with the torch during original shipping and storage.

They have never been lit and come with full-length 18" wicks. The box is in very good shape as well.

They are fully functional and their vintage character also makes for great nostalgic decoration. They will burn kerosene or citronella fuel, which is great on the patio. They also make excellent decorations for Halloween and Christmas.
