Recent Auction Find: These Dolls are in EXCELLENT CONDITION . These dolls range from 11" to 12 1/2" tall not counting the base. The outfits have were permanently attached with what I believe was glue. The cloth bodies were very well made. Each individual finger is stitched between. The little finger and the thumbs are separate and the three middle fingers have stitch line between them but they are together. The arms and hands are bendable with what must be a wire inside. The legs are not bendable. The head is not moveable. I am not positive but I believe these coud be from the 40s. The bases are wood and measures 3 1/2" X 2 1/2". I can not find any tags or marks at all. The faces look to be hand painted but I am not positive. I would really appreciate any info on these 3 dolls.
