I'm getting rid of some of my "stuff". Up for auction today are 3 Gillette razors. 1 Gillette Adjustable "Fatboy" , 1 Gillette Adjustable Black Handle , and 1Gillette Super Speed Red Tip razor.
"Fatboy Adjustable 1-9: date code E1, 1959. Blade adjustment works fine. The knob to open the razor doors works but you must apply pressure to the knob to have it open and close the doors, but it holds blade and adjusts just fine.
Black Handle Adjustable 1-9: date code S2, 1972. Nicest of the three, blade adjustment and door mechanism works fine.
Gillette Super Speed Red Tip: date code C4 1957. Door mechanism works fine.
All razors could use a polishing, so they are being sold "as is". Any of the three would make a nice addition to your collection or could be used as a daily shaver .
I started collecting old razors years ago, among other things, but now I am cleaning out some of my old collectible items, to make room for more new old "Stuff".
