This auction is for a set of gorgeous Iridescent Glass Presidential Series Commemorative Decanters by Wheaton Glass. Each piece is 7.75" tall and 5.75" wide. The purple Dwight David Eisenhower decanter features a raised portrait of Dwight David Eisenhower and his name on the front, the back of the decanter reads "... PEACE WITH JUSTICE " DWIGHT "IKE" EISENHOWER 34th president 1953-1961. The blue JFK decanter features a raised side portrait of John F Kennedy with the raised writing "May 29, 1917 John Fitzgerald Kennedy Nov. 22, 1963 on the front and the back of the decanter reads "... Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country." J.F.K. The green FDR decanter features a raised side portrait of FDR with the raised writing Jan.30,1882 Franklin Delano Roosevelt April 12,1945 on the front and the back reads " We have nothing to fear but fear itself" Franklin Delano Roosevelt 32nd president and his signature. The bottom of each is marked Wheaton, NJ and First Edition. Wheaton Glass Company began their consumer division in 1965 in Millville, New Jersey. In 1967 they began to produce commemorative decanters, flasks and bottles.
