Very nice assortment of Czech "American Indian or African Trade" glass beads from the 1920-50's period. This is a HUGE lot weighing 30 pounds at way, way below wholesale price of comparable "NEW" beads. Retail value is approximately $2000-$3000. To show better detail, pictured is (washed) randomly picked and strung assortment, which is 36 inches long, contains 208 beads and weighs 55.5 grams. To save you some time, here are some figures (based on the pictured assortment) what is, or what can you do with 30 pounds : Approximately 51 thousands beads, if strung with no spacers the length would be 8835 inches or 490 necklaces 18" long. There is full scale of colors - transparent, opaque, striped and 2-3 layer glass beads. The size of the beads ranges from 1/8" to 3/8", some of them sell at $1.00 per bead. If you need smaller amount, 1 pound is available for $24.99. Again, you are bidding on bulk lot of 30 lbs. The beads accumulated over the years some dust and will need to be washed.
