From the Walt Disney Classics Collection ...Disney's Beauty and the Beast - Sitty Pretty - the Village Girls and Le Fou . Three shapely, swooning blondes cannot distract the villainous Gaston from his pursuit of the brunette, bookish beauty Belle. Bumbling village idiot Le Fou - who idolizes the handsome but heartless Gaston - completes this scene of comic adoration. This is a 2005 Members-Only Piece made available to members of the Walt Disney Classics Collectors Society by commission from May 15th through September 30th of 2005. It was sculpted by Walt Disney Classics Collection master sculptor Kent Melton. This sculpted confection stands five and one half inches high, seven inches long and five and one half inches wide. The Walt Disney Classics Collection item number for this piece is 4001479. The incised annual production mark is the Glass Slipper from Walt Disney's Cinderella - signifying production in the year 2005. The retail price of this piece is $250.00. This sculpture comes from a private collection and is in mint condition. It has been stored in a smoke-free, climate controlled environment since its purchase. It has never been displayed. It has only been removed from its original box for purposes of inspection and to be photographed for this auction. It is sold in its original box with its unopened
