Up for auction is a 30 piece Rookwood Faience Tile backsplash, using 8 different colors of tiles and 10 bullnose tiles (top row). I will not try and describe the coloring of tiles, as under different light, the colors change somewhat, much like an oriental rug. Each tile is 4 inches square. As you can see from the photos, some of the tiles have edge chips. Which in my opinion, the majority will be covered upon installation. The are no surface chips. Without grout, the measurements are 40" wide, by 12" high. With .25" grout, the measurement increase to 42.5" wide and 12-3/4" high. All but one tile is numbered, but it does have the Rookwood symbol. The numbers are, 423,425,448,443,417?, 426,373,486?, and the bullnose 405-3-6188. (? mark means I can not read it that clearly.) Should you not want to keep it a backsplash, you can make your own designs,arranges the colors anyway you want, or give the tile as Chirstmas gifts. The starting price is $75.00, or $2.50 (cheap) per tile. I try and represent the tile as best I can to avoid any issues that may arise later.
