As I am sure you are aware, his watches sold for world record prices and I was fortunate enough to secure one lot, which had 13 movements. The movement has a perfect chain and balance and but the movement struggles to tickThe movement has NOT been cleaned or serviced. It is sold “as is” with NO refunds or returns acceptedThis movement is made by the esteemed listed maker, Litherland Davies and Co, LiverpoolMovement – the gilt full plate fusee movement has a Rack lever escapement with a 30 tooth escape wheel. The movement a finely engraved watch cock decorated with swirls and, flowers and signed Patent. The movement has a wide steel 3 arm balance and regulator. The movement is signed “Litherland Davies & Co, Liverpool” # 8099 The movement is in 80% mint condition – light marks and scratches and some small rust marks on the balanceDial – the off white enamel dial has no hands and is in 95% mint condition – a small chip on the edge between the 10-11The movement measures 45mm wide on the dial plate, 39mm wide on the back plate x 13mm deep Check out my other items !
