Since sharks are made up of mainly cartilage, only their teeth become fossilized. A shark can produce many teeth in a lifetime, but a shark tooth takes millions of years to become a full fossil. These teeth were collected along the coast of Florida, Australia, and from the Gulf of Mexico over a period of 40 years. The teeth in the picture are the exact teeth that you will be receiving, so bid with confidence!
