Mahogany Secretary Desk with Bookcase Top 's a real nice Mahogany Secretary Desk out of a New Jersey estate auction, 1930's in age. This piece came to us in poor finish. It has been refinished and it looks great. This piece has a 2 door bookcase on top, with 2 shelves. The base has a slant front desk over 3 drawers. It's in Chippendale style, with a broken arch top and turned finial. The base has serpentine drawer fronts, ball and claw front feet and original bat wing pulls. This piece is 74" high, 30" wide and 17" deep. The writing desk is 27" high, when opened. READ ON! The desk interior is complete and in fine shape, with a center cabinet and letter slots, over 3 drawers. T's 18" in front of the cabinet when opened.
