30s Vintage Metal Art Deco Dresser Chest of Drawers

This dresser or chest of drawers is part of a five-piece bedroom suite made by the Simmons Company in the late 20s or early 30s. One of Simmons' designers was Norman bel Geddes; whether he designed these pieces, I don't know. Classic example of Art Deco styling, with graceful curved base and bakelite pulls. All pulls are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. Three large drawers, three small drawers, and one door that opens to reveal a compartment for storing toiletries. All interiors of doors and drawers are in original painted condition, with some wear. Exterior metal has been finished with a hand-rubbed paste-wax finish, and t is extensive pitting, scratching and discoloration of the metal, as with most vintage metal furniture. Really an amazing set. The other pieces are listed separately: a vanity/dressing table with bench, and a nightstand. I have not listed the bed, which is a full-sized, simple curved metal headboard and footboard, but will be happy to sell it along with the other pieces. Dimensions are 33-1/2" wide x 19" deep x 44-1/2" high. It is quite heavy, so I am checking into shipping options, but I believe it will have to be trucked, ie, by Craters and Freighters.
