1/32 Sikorsky H-34 (S-58) CHOCTAW USA Helicopter Kitr made by HOBBYMODELLBAU in West Germany. VACUFORM VACFORM VAC kit. This is a vacuform kit where one has to cut out all the pieces, make them fit and assemble them into a model.
NOT NEW, NOT USED, JUST AN OLDER KIT. What you see in the photos is all you get. BUT The tape dispenser and knife in the photos are there to hold down the items as it was windy when I photographed them. They are NOT part of this sale.
Some small parts will be constructed by the builder from plastic card stock which they will provide. The canopy is clear. There are drawings and plans.
The Sikorsky H-34 (company designation S-58) is a piston-engined military helicopter originally designed by American aircraft manufacturer Sikorsky as an anti-submarine warfare (ASW) aircraft for the United States Navy. It has seen extended use when adapted to turbine power by the British licensee as the Westland Wessex and Sikorsky as the later S-58T.
The U.S. Army named this helicopter the Choctaw.
H-34s served, mostly as medium transports, on every continent with the armed forces of twenty-five countries.
