This collection has over3200 stamps from South America, the vast majority used. Most are relatively common, but with a good portion in the classic era (1940 and earlier). Almost all are mounted on the pages; the others are loose in glassines, or on display cards. Some items may have minor faults; I did not see any with major faults, though a few could have escaped notice. There is very light duplication. The pages are in good shape, with holes intact, though, of course, they are used, and several show hinge marks or remnants; some have pencil notations. The pages come from different printings, so type font and paper color can vary somewhat. I believe all are present for the periods indicated (see below), but cannot guarantee absolutely it. For some countries, the pages for regular postage are interleaved with back-of-the-book pages because different International Page parts and supplements have been combined to make full “runs” for each country. The binder shown in the pictures is not included.
