From the Hamilton Collection 1988, a stunning and breathtaking 17" recreation of a 19th Century French BRU Jne 6 antique doll. Her name is "Nicole" and the doll was crafted from molds taken directly from an original Bru Jne 6. A gifted doll artist has hand-painted her porcelain face, shoulders and hand, and subtly brushed her cheeks, palms and fingers. She has a porcelian swivel head and shoulder plate. A dot of color appears at the corner of each eye, and the bares the official Bru mark on her head/ neck , and on her left shoulder plate. She has large clear blue crystal weight eyes; her hand stuffed body is made of 17 pieces of leather sewn together with care (Note: a rare reproduction of its kind that can make this claim).
