For auction is this huge group of vintage 35mm slides which were recently purchased at a local estate sale. As I understand it, the woman had been a high school teacher and it appears that she traveled extensively during school breaks. This spectacular collection of over 6000 slides appear to have all been taken by this one woman. They are in excellent condition, in focus and with good color. As I peaked through the boxes and boxes of slides I tried to take notes of some of the scenes...The Citadel, Quebec City, rooftop views of cities, the Hudson River, Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Boston, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, New Year's Day Parade, Montreal, Rockefeller Center, ostriches, Christmas windows and snow scenes, Mt. Shasta, Central Park, Thanksgiving Day Parade 1955, St. Louis, Miami Beach, Key West, Islamorada and the Everglades, the Tower of London, Oxford and Windsor Castle, Cambridge, Japan, China and Hong Kong. T are high school football games with cheerleaders and talent shows, flower shows and scenes of Fort Worth.The list could go on and on but I think you get the idea. I couldn't put all the slides together for one picture because the pile is just too big so I separated them as they're stored - I think it looks like a lot more in real life than it does in the pictures - this is a whole lot of slides folks.
