37 Ancient African Agate Beads, Excavated in Djenne Mali, Years Old 37 Ancient excavated carnelian, banded and more agate beads. Polygonal Bicone, ellipsoid, convex, lozenge, lenticular, oblate and more. These beads were probably excavated in Djenne, Mali which used to be one of the greatest cities of it's time. These agates probably started out in India or Europe and was brought to Mali on one of the ancient trade routes. The age is conservately at 200 years old and quite possibly over 2,000 yers old.
