The Danbury Mint Presents The Life Of Jesus Series A Limited Proof Edition 38.69 OZT Sterling Silver No ReserveWinner Takes It All..!!You are bidding on a stunningly beautiful very rare, limited proof edition collection of The Life of Jesus Series struck by The Danbury Mint; this vintage solid sterling silver collection was minted back in 1972 and is close to forty-years-old, there are very few around anymore. The sterling silver medals sit in their black velvet holders and are housed in a beautifully stained oak display case. There is a clear acrylic cover which protects the medals and can be used to display these beautiful portraits of the major events in the Life of Christ . The major events of Christ’s life are pictorially portrayed on the face of each medal while the scriptural reference to that event is inscribed on the obverse side. The pictured medals are proof and in very good but not mint condition. There are twenty-four medals each with a median weight of 773.73 grains. The rim of each medal has the Danbury Mint Mark, the word "sterling", the letter "P" for proof and the year of minting - 72.
