Up for bid is a beautiful antique sterling silver 33 piece flatware set. The only thing I know about it for sure is that it belonged to one of my mother's relatives. Each piece is engraved with the letter "M." It is in very good condition. Included is a very nice, compact, felt lined storage case. The underside of the lid of the case shows, "Silverfile - A Revere & Mitchell Product." I am not certain that the case is original to the flatware, as the back of each piece of flatware states, "International Sterling - PAT 1929." I do not know how many pieces the set originally contained, but the set currently has 6 full place settings, including the following: 1. 6 Salad Forks 2. 6 Forks 3. 6 Knives 4. 6 Butter Spreaders 5. 12 Spoons (They are all identical) 6. 2 Large Serving Spoons Any questions, please ask. Thanks for looking! I believe the name of this pattern is "Orchid." The item is being listed in the exact condition in which it was found. We did not polish it or clean it, that option is yours. It was put away probably more than 30 or 40 years ago and has been in the case ever since. The original description states 33 pieces, but to clarify, t are 38 pieces in this set. We found an additional place setting after the item was listed. Also, insurance is included in the price of shipping, not "optional" as listed in the shipping details.
