This is a great front seam fixed bale helmet with a unit ID of AAAO. This helmet is in overall good condition, with some minor to moderate pitting. The band around the helmet was removed as it does not belong to the helmet and is not WWII. Liner is included and is a good WWII helmet liner with an original sweatband. The helmet chinstraps are worn and a bit tattered but are still there and add a great amount of character to this battle veteran! Take a look at the pictures and email me with any questions. DO not pass up on a helmet with such historic significance! Also note there is some rust damage to left side of the helmet. See updated photo.
