Ertegun approached the heads of various record companies with his idea, spearheading the formation of the non-profit organization that would eventually become the Foundation.In 1986, the Foundation held the first annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in the Waldorf-Astoria Grand Ballroom in New York City. What a year, Beatles, Bob Dylan and so many other huge acts. The program is very nicely made, 36 pages, measuring about 8.5"x12", with lots of great photos, profiles of the inductees and nominees, info about the Hall of Fame Foundation and cool tidbits of Rock 'N' Roll history, Rock "forefathers", historic sites etc. The program is in good condition except for one big vertical crease/fold that goes up the middle of the program- you can see it less on the back cover than on the front and on most of the pages it is not that noticeable or distracting, but the price has been reduced accordingly, otherwise it is in excellent condition, very clean, not faded or stained.All 10 photos are of the actual item you'll receive.Very cool piece of music memorabilia, and very rare as they were only given to attendees of the ceremony!Free shipping... read more
