An attractive set of three small Chinese export porcelain vases, decorated with oriental persons, 19th century Description: On offer is this exquisite set of three small Chinese porcelain vases, hand painted under glaze in blue on milky white. The vases are elaborately decorated and show nicely detailed designs. The set consists of three lidded baluster shaped vases.The vases all have a cover with a knob finial. All vases are decorated with a design of two oriental persons in a landscape. The bases of the vases are unmarked. The lidded vases all stand nearly 5 inches (125 mm) high, while their base measures 1,75 inches (45 mm) across. All three vases are in wonderful condition, with no hairlines, cracks or repairs. Some fleabite chips to the covers, not at all detracting from the beautiful appearance of this wonderful antique set, need to be mentioned for accuracy. Please view the pictures, which give a good impression of the outstanding condition and the quality of the elaborate painting.These vases were made in China in the 19th century. The deep blue color which was used for the decoration, indicates that they were produced in Qianlong (Kien Lung) fashion, which covers a large part of the 18th century (1736 -1795).
