About safety and sterilization concerns for both of us: As of 12/27/08, I now use commercial Barbicide Disinfectant along with my other sterilization processes. I soak each razor in Barbicide disinfectant 1 hour after I wash them thoroughly. (10 minutes recommended) After soaking in Barbicide Disinfectant, the razors are polished (if necessary) and after I am satisfied with how the razor looks, it is washed, steamed and soaked once again in Barbicide 30 minutes and rinsed off with warm water. Razor will not be touched again until ready to be shipped. I wrap all razors first in anti bacterial tissue before bubble wrap and I DO NOT use "used" packing materials for razors. All my packing materials are completely new including a moisture water proof type bubble envelope (not paper). I do not want any germs on these razors. I am concerned about my safety as much as I am concerned about your safety. About Barbicide: Barbicide complies with OSHA'S (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) bloodborne pathogens standard. BARBICIDE is an E.P.A. (Environmental Protection Agency) registered hospital disinfectant for all salon tools and is used by thousands of hairdressers in the U.S.A. and Europe. It is Germicidal, Fungicidal, Virucidal and Pseudomonacidal. Kills H.I.V. - 1 (A.I.D.S. Virus), hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus, herpes, read more
