At hand is a large 4.350 Inch Megalodon Shark Tooth. It weighs 4.4 oz and is 2.931 Inches wide. The left edge is 4.006 Inches and the right edge is 4.350 Inches. This tooth is an ocean/sand polished tooth, so the serations and bourlette are worn. The enamel is approximately 100% present and the root is close to 100%. The pictures should adequately show the tooth's shape. This tooth does have a brown root (more of the display side) and lots of iron flakes in the display enamel (rare). This tooth is 100% Natural with No Restoration or repairs! It has been mildly cleaned with vegetable grade cleansers, to remove any coral, sea growth, and odors. Scuba Diving in the Atlantic is my predominant means for collecting teeth. Our dive locations are remote and deep. All of this adds to the Expense, Complexity, and Danger involved.
