The item for bid is a Matching Set of Four (4) Clear & Ruby Stained Early American Pattern Glass Berry Bowls in the "BLOCK AND SHEAF" pattern that was made by the Co-Operative Flint Glass Company beginning in 1893. All of the pieces have outstanding clarity and pattern detail, and are in VERY GOOD CONDITION with all four having several chipped sawteeth on the rim (see photos). The ruby stain is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with very minor wear present. I beleive the chipping on the sawtooth rim ocurred from continually stacking the bowls on top of each other rather than from being used, as they appear to have been used very little. The bowls measure 1-3/4" tall, 4-5/8" diameter across the top rim, and the rayed base is 3-1/4" diameter.
