We offer for sale these four Coin Silver Teaspoons made by Jesse Garrettson Baldwin, Silversmith. He was born March 17, 1804 in Meriden , Conn. and died April 5, 1887 in Middletown , Conn. Silversmith. The Teaspoons are 6 inches long, marked on the back: J.G. Baldwin with no engraved initials on the front or back. He worked from circa 1825 to 1832 as a silversmith in Oxford CT. He was a partner from 1833 to 1834 with Seymour Wesley Baldwin in Middletown CT. He worked from 1835 to 1850 as a silver-and pewtersmith in Middleton , Conn.
