Offered is a collection of rarely offered Palaeozoic echinoderms from UK and France. All except one are carpoids; this 'odd one out' is possibly an edriosateroid (top left, positive and negative moulds) from the Lower Llanvirn; Abereiddian Stage, Hope Shales of Minsterley, Shropshire. Clockwise from this specimen are: a group of Macrocystella plates from the famous site at Shineton, Shropshire (Tremadoc Series; pusilla Biozone), a double Galliacystis from the Llanvirn Series; Llandelian Stage of meadowtown, Shropshire and finally, two apparently distinct, but unknown carpoids from the Middle Cambrian, Coulmar Schists of St Chimons, Herault, France. Both show the distinct peripheral row of plates very well and both may prepare further. No reserve!...............one for the advanced collector. Please note: I will be away from 10th July until 17th July. The sale of this item will be processed on 18th July. Apologies in advance for the delay.
