Up for auction are 4 absolutely fabulous experimental goblets by Pigeon Forge Pottery, signed by Douglas Ferguson. The glazing on these goblets is most likely what Ferguson was experimenting with because it is certainly unique to Pigeon Forge Pottery. The goblets themselves are in very good condition. One goblet has a slight lean to it but that is common with hand thrown pottery. They stand approximately 6" tall, 2 5/8" across the base, and 3 1/4" across the mouth. One of the goblets has the experimental code etched in the bottom. All are signed. The pictures don't do them justice- they are truly beautiful.We provide quality packing for all our items.
