This auction is one bid for a set of 4 superb sterling silver goblets by Gorham, their classic No. 272 goblets, extremely heavy (7 ounces each on my kitchen scale) and the aesthetic is very clean-lined and timeless, as the pics show. The Gorham 272s are widely regarded as best-in-class sterling goblets, and with good reason. These are vintage estate goblets with definitely some age, but probably not extremely old. I would date these to about the 1960s or 1970s. Each goblet fully marked with the Gorham hallmarks, plus "Gorham" and "Sterling" and "272". Unconditionally guaranteed authentic and your money (less shipping) cheerfully refunded with *no questions asked* if you buy them and don't agree after you see them in person, but you aren't going to be disappointed. MINT condition and most likely used primarily for display and holiday use. A few very minor usage marks consistent with age, but NO pings, dings, dents, or disfiguring scratches. NO monograms or removals and no obnoxious deep tarnish. The pics show the condition well and they are vintage mint and you will not be disappointed. Each goblet about 6.5" tall and 3.5" in diameter across the top and holds 8 ounces with room to spare and they would be considered very large goblets. NO RESERVE and a very low start and the pics tell the rest of the story. Please note that I have a total of 20 Sterling Silver goblets (including some more Gorham 272s) and I wll be listing them all on eBay over the next two weeks, so please check my other auctions if you would like additional goblets, I'm happy to combine shipping.
