I think these are sauce dishes,but they are shaped oval instead of the usual round.T are no chips or cracks and the gold trim is in good shape except for some wear on the ends of three of the dishes.Two of the dishes have checking on the glaze,but this is not real pronounced.They measure 5" long ny 3 1/2" across the middle and are about 1" deep.They are all marked W.H Grindley England inside a green wreath mark.Over this it says The Olympic.I don't know if this is the pattern or perhaps these were hotel dishes.They have a nice flow blue pattern of what looks like 3 leaf clovers and gold trim on the edges.These are unusual to find in this nice condition.Thanks for looking and please see my other auctions for bone dishes that match these.
