For sale today is a very rare size of Homer Laughlin's Virginia Rose in the Bouquet pattern, all from 1945. Each of these four plates measures 10 1/4 inches wide, the biggest and least made of the Homer Laughlin plates. Decorations are bright and shiny on each plate and platinum trim is estimated at 95% intact. Plate No. 1 has some utensil scratches on the front, slight crazing on the back and its back stamp is faded in half, but you can tell it says Homer Laughlin Virginia Rose B 45 N ?. Plate No. 2 has some utensil scratches on the front, three 1/8 inch gouges (in a triangle shaped pattern) on the back (probably from stacking) and the faded back stamp reads Homer Laughlin Virginia Rose B 45 N 6. Plate No. 3 has some utensil scratches on the front, 3 flea bites on the back, slight crazing, and the back stamp reads Homer Laughlin Virginia Rose B 45 N 6. Plate No. 4 has slight utensil scratches on the front, 2 flea bites and slight crazing on the back, and the back stamp reads Homer Laughlin Virginia Rose B 45 N 6.
