Four beautiful Japanese Imari plates (late 19 th century) are offered for this sale. The plates are entirely hand painted with a variety of bright colors with scenes of tapestry, birds and flowers. Each plate has an identical hand painted mark on the bottom. One plate has a hairline near the rim that is very hard to see. In addition the plate has a small chip under the rim, but it cannot be seen on the surface. The other three plates have no chips, cracks or repairs. Each plate measures approx 6 ¼ inches in diameter and approx 1 inch in height.

Buyer pays the actual cost of shipping by USPS mail. For US buyers, your item will be shipped using USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation & optional insurance. Shipping costs can be calculated by using the "Calculate shipping" section at the bottom of this page. For international buyers, please email me after the sale for the cost of shipping & required insurance before you pay. Buyer is responsible for any local import licenses, duties, taxes or fees charged by your country.

T are no handling or packaging material charges. Insurance is recommended. I guarantee that your item will be excellently packaged and mailed correctly, but I cannot take responsibility for items that are lost or damaged during transit. I accept personal checks, money orders and Paypal. Personal checks require up to 10 business days to clear before the item will be shipped. Payment must be received within 14 days from the end of the sale.

I always try to accurately describe each item to the best of my ability. When describing condition, I will always be upfront and point out any defects that stand out at me. However, since older items usually show some signs of age, it is very difficult to describe every tiny detail. Please refer to the photos to best determine the items overall condition.
