For your consideration. A late 19th Century Art Nouveau square Brass Planter with 4 signed "Moyr Smith" Tiles (one on each side). The 4 Exquisite Tiles are from the Mintons China Works tile series "Idylls of the King" The four Tiles are Titled Excalibur, Lynette, Morte D'Arthur and Geraint. And each is Artist Signed Moyr Smith. These high grade tiles are designed with Polychrome colors of Blue and Brown on a white background. All are signed Mintons China Works Stoke On Trent on the back. The planter frame (solid Brass) adorned with Art Nouveau details is signed W T & S on the bottom. The stand measures 7-3/4" high by 8" wide by 8" at the bottom. The opening at the top is 6" square for your planter or insert to sit in. This Antique piece is in excellent gently displayed condition. The tiles are not chipped,cracked or damaged.
